Al-Qadr

بِّسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ فِى لَيْلَةِ ٱلْقَدْرِ ﴿1﴾

Innaa anzalnaahu fee lailatil qadr

97:1Indeed We sent it down on the Night of Ordainment.

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ ﴿2﴾

Wa maa adraaka ma lailatul qadr

97:2And what will show you what is the Night of Ordainment?

لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌۭ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍۢ ﴿3﴾

Lailatul qadri khairum min alfee shahr

97:3The Night of Ordainment is better than a thousand months.

تَنَزَّلُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍۢ ﴿4﴾

Tanaz zalul malaa-ikatu war roohu feeha bi izni-rab bihim min kulli amr

97:4In it the angels and the Spirit descend, by the leave of their Lord, with every command.

سَلَٰمٌ هِىَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ ٱلْفَجْرِ ﴿5﴾

Salaamun hiya hattaa mat la'il fajr

97:5It is peaceful until the rising of the dawn.
