Al-Aadiyaat

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلْعَٰدِيَٰتِ ضَبْحًۭا ﴿1﴾

Wal'aadi yaati dabha

100:1By the snorting chargers,

فَٱلْمُورِيَٰتِ قَدْحًۭا ﴿2﴾

Fal moori yaati qadha

100:2by the strikers of sparks [with their hoofs],

فَٱلْمُغِيرَٰتِ صُبْحًۭا ﴿3﴾

Fal mugheeraati subha

100:3by the raiders at dawn,

فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِۦ نَقْعًۭا ﴿4﴾

Fa atharna bihee naq'a

100:4raising therein a trail of dust,

فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِۦ جَمْعًا ﴿5﴾

Fawa satna bihee jam'a

100:5and cleaving therein a host!

إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٌۭ ﴿6﴾

Innal-insana lirabbihee lakanood

100:6Indeed man is ungrateful to his Lord,

وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌۭ ﴿7﴾

Wa innahu 'alaa zaalika la shaheed

100:7and indeed he is [himself] witness to that!

وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ ﴿8﴾

Wa innahu lihubbil khairi la shadeed

100:8And indeed he is an avid lover of wealth.

۞ أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِى ٱلْقُبُورِ ﴿9﴾

Afala ya'lamu iza b'uthira ma filquboor

100:9Does he not know, when what is [buried] in the graves is turned over,

وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِى ٱلصُّدُورِ ﴿10﴾

Wa hussila maa fis sudoor

100:10and what is [concealed] in the breasts is divulged,

إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لَّخَبِيرٌۢ ﴿11﴾

Inna rabbahum bihim yauma 'izil la khabeer

100:11on that day their Lord will be well informed about them [and their deeds]?
