Al-Faatiha

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ﴿1﴾

Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem

1:1In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ ﴿2﴾

Alhamdu lillaahi Rabbil 'aalameen

1:2All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds,

ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ﴿3﴾

Ar-Rahmaanir-Raheem

1:3the All-beneficent, the All-merciful,

مَٰلِكِ يَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ ﴿4﴾

Maaliki Yawmid-Deen

1:4Master of the Day of Retribution.

إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ ﴿5﴾

Iyyaaka na'budu wa lyyaaka nasta'een

1:5You [alone] do we worship, and to You [alone] do we turn for help.

ٱهْدِنَا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمَ ﴿6﴾

Ihdinas-Siraatal-Mustaqeem

1:6Guide us on the straight path,

صِرَٰطَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ ٱلْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا ٱلضَّآلِّينَ ﴿7﴾

Siraatal-lazeena an'amta 'alaihim ghayril-maghdoobi 'alaihim wa lad-daaalleen

1:7the path of those whom You have blessed — such as have not incurred Your wrath, nor are astray.
