Taʿqib after Dhuhr

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Bismillahi ar-rahmani ar-rahim

In the name of Allah the Beneficent, the Merciful

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

Allahumma salli 'ala muhammadin wa ali muhammad

O Allah, bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad

لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ ٱلْحَلِيمُ

La ilaha illa allahu al-'azimu al-halim

There is no god save Allah, the All-great and Most Forbearing.

لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ رَبُّ ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلْكَرِيمِ

la 'ilha 'illa allahu rabbu al'arshi alkarimi

There is no god save Allah, the Lord of the Throne of Honour.

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ

alhamdu lillahi rabbi al'alamina

All praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مُوجِبَاتِ رَحْمَتِكَ

allahumma 'inni 'as'aluka mujibati rahmatika

O Allah, I ask You for the motives of Your mercy,

وَعَزَائِمَ مَغْفِرَتِكَ

wa'aza'ima maghfiratika

the determining causes of Your forgiveness,

وَٱلْغَنِيمَةَ مِنْ كُلِّ بِرٍّ

walghanimata min kulli birrin

the advantage of each act of kindness,

وَٱلسَّلَامَةَ مِنْ كُلِّ إِثْمٍ

walssalamata min kulli 'ithmin

and the safeguarding against each and every sin.

اَللَّهُمَّ لَا تَدَعْ لِي ذَنْبًا إِلَّا غَفَرْتَهُ

allahumma la tada' li dhanban 'illa ghafartahu

O Allah, (please) do not leave any of my offenses unforgiven,

وَلَا هَمًّا إِلَّا فَرَّجْتَهُ

wala hamman 'illa farrajtahu

any of my misfortunes unrelieved,

وَلَا سُقْمًا إِلَّا شَفَيْتَهُ

wala suqman 'illa shafaytahu

any of my ailments unhealed,

وَلَا عَيْبًا إِلَّا سَتَرْتَهُ

wala 'ayban 'illa satartahu

any of my defects uncovered,

وَلَا رِزْقًا إِلَّا بَسَطْتَهُ

wala rizqan 'illa basattahu

any (item of my) sustenance not including (me),

وَلَا خَوْفًا إِلَّا آمَنْتَهُ

wala khawfan 'illa 'amantahu

any fear (that I experience) unsecured,

وَلَا سُوءًا إِلَّا صَرَفْتَهُ

wala su'an 'illa saraftahu

any evil (that comes upon me) uncontrollable,

وَلَا حَاجَةً هِيَ لَكَ رِضًا وَّلِيَ فِيهَا صَلَاحٌ إِلَّا قَضَيْتَهَا

wala hajatan hiya laka ridan wwaliya fiha salahun 'illa qadaytaha

and any need that achieves Your satisfaction and my benefit unanswered.

يَا أَرْحَمَ ٱلرَّاحِمِينَ

ya 'arhama arrahimina

O most Merciful of all those who show mercy.

آمِينَ رَبَّ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ

'amina rabba al'alamina

(please) Respond, O Lord of the worlds.
